Reinforced concrete foundation
A reinforced concrete foundation in a gravel bed is without doubt the optimal, but also the most expensive solution. Even with this option, preventative measures must be taken to ensure that no water can leak through into the shed. A shouldered foundation with a step of 2 cm x 7 cm running around the circumference is of all the variations proposed here, the most ideal solution.
If you would like to build the foundation without a step, it is highly recommended to use a metal compatible sealing mass to seal the floor profile from underneath (between floor profile and foundation).
(Attention: ensure that a plastic-sheet is placed between the gravel and the concrete to prevent rising moisture).
