Delivery time for standard products (garden sheds and storage solutions) will be delivered within 3 weeks from receipt of order (depending on delivery address). Products with customized colours or products which were built according to individual customer needs can be delivered within 4-6 week from receipt of order.
If you choose delivery directly to your home (“free kerbside delivery”), please indicate us your telephone number where the forwarding agency can call you during daytime to arrange an appointment for delivery.

Notwithstanding the standard colors you can choose between most of the over 200 RAL colors. This additional powder coating not only looks very noble, but also increases the protection against corrosion. RAL color charts are available at the color departments of the markets or stores. Of course it is a significant additional work and expense because the RAL powder coating (similar to a polyester enamel) is externally. All parts have to be packed, unpacked and sent several times. The Garden Shed Europe and the Equipment Locker, the whole product can be painted in a different color. Concerning the other storage solutions, you can ask our Biohort Service Team. The surcharge for special RAL finishes is different for each product.

Yes! In the mentioned countries, the delivery is free of charge (Austria, Germany, France, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Denmark, England, Ireland, Sweden, Finland, Spain). Requirement is that the delivery address is located on the mainland and the street is drivable with a 38t truck. The products will be deliverd to the market or directly to the customers home.

"Free shipping" is the unique transport from our factory to the specified delivery address (mainland only), last curb, under the condition that the road is accessible for a 38 tonne truck. Please note: If the goods can't be deliverd because the customer is absent, delivery charges are levied by the haulage company. Therefore we recommend the free telephone Aviso. Specify a phone number where you can be reached during the day. The haulier will contact you to give you the date of delivery.

Biohort products require - thanks to the high-quality materials from which they are built - hardly any maintenance. All that's required is that the lock, the hinges and guide profiles, rails etc. are oiled at least once or twice a year or treated with grease (Vaseline in the case of the guide rails of the Storemax). In the case of soiling and dirt brought on by weather and environmental conditions only water, a sponge and mild household detergent are required to clean our products.You can even use a high-pressure cleaner to get rid of dirt on your garden shed (keep a minimum distance of at least 10cm from paintwork). Should the paint finish become deeply scratched, this damage must be repaired by retouching the paint in the affected area. Important:
Aggressive cleaning and scouring agents, road salt, fertilisers and other similar chemical materials can attack the paint and zinc surfaces resulting in rust damage. Guarantee claims in such cases can no longer be brought to bear.
For Biohort products which are to be used near the sea, make sure that the distance to salt water is at least 200m! Return to the FAQ list
No, even without special manual skills you will be able to assemble Biohort products with the illustrated assembly instructions provided. The most essential tool required - an M7 socket spanner - is included in the package. A flat spanner 7/10 is also included in the delivery of the Garden Shed/Equipment Locker. To assemble the Garden Shed/
Equipment Locker an additional flat-blade screwdriver, or in the case of the StoreMax® a Philips screwdriver are essential. If you do not wish to assemble the product yourself, we will be more than happy to help you. You can find our certified assembly contractors in our website under “Assembly service”.
